Some Native Americans were performers or entertainers who appeared in native regalia. For example, the group of Native Americans to the right were assembling a teepee in 1904 at a carnival (DN-0002045). White Eagle, photographed in 1917, also may have been an entertainer (DN-0009737). In 1922, another group in native dress set up camp at Forest Park amusement park in suburban Maywood, Illinois (DN-0064697, DN-0083956, DN-0064696). In 1929 a group of Native American musicians wearing blankets wrapped over their suits and ties posed for the photographers at a railway station (DN-0087456). Click on Image
