Issues Today

In the year 2000, the presidential election issues included taxation, education, civil rights, health care, social security, environmental protection, and campaign finance reform. In 2008, presidential election issues included the war in Iraq, terrorism, environmental issues, the economy, health care reform, education and No Child Left Behind, and immigration reform. Which of these issues will be crucial in the next Presidency? Which political positions will be rewarded? What new issues will emerge?
