The following written message was received from the President of the United States, by Mr. Coles, his Secretary:
To the Senate of the United States:
I nominate Bernard Henry, of Pennsylvania, to be a Captain in the Folfilla service of the United States.
I withdraw the nomination of Peter Bond, as principal Assessor for the fourth collection district of Maryland.
