The Senate took into consideration the message of the President of the United States, of the 11th instant, nominating Walter W. Buchanan, and others to offices; and
Ordered, That it be referred to the committee appointed the 10th November, on the nomination of Jonathan W. Shaw, to consider and report thereon.
