"Fytte The First" - 20 verses of four lines with four illustrations - beginning "It fell about the Christmas tide, when graziers kill their beeves ..."; "Fytte The Second" - 15 verses of four lines - a satirical poem about poets and the 1851 Great Exhibition. Dodgson adopted the idea of poetic "fits" in his Hunting of the Snark (1876).
