NOTES
Dodgson was visiting Dr. James Hunt (1833-1869), speech therapist, at Ore, near Hastings, at the time of this event. The report indicated Dodgson's part in the proceedings. This is an early prototype of Dodgson's later essay "Feeding the Mind." This is probably a local newspaper in the Hastings area.
