Two churches.

CREATED/PUBLISHED
London, England: Punch, XXXIII, pp. 136-137, October 3, 1857

A poem that compared the "new" and "old" church; the new church in modern Gothic style with full congregation admiring the latest fashions on display, and the old church damp and empty except for one old lady praying in traditional manner, but "nearer to Heaven" according to the poet.
