Who shall deliver me?

AUTHOR/CREATOR
Rossetti, Christina G.

Argosy, February 1, 1866

NOTES
The poem, written on March 1, 1864, is about self-doubt and inner torment. Dodgson's diaries reveal that he suffered likewise from such feelings and, from time to time, included a prayer to help him overcome his perceived faults and sins.
