Notes
Henry Reed was hesitant about the title to this striking old tune, for he recorded it twice and came up with a different title each time. Nothing is known about the tune's history, but it was learned by the Hollow Rock String Band and entered the modern old-time music revival through their recording (Kanawha 311).
Title change: The title appeared in the fieldnotes as "Betty Likins."
