SUMMARY
Detail of a printed map of Winchester, Va., and environs, with annotations and additions by Sneden. Additions include inclusion of roads, notes about and dates of battles and skirmishes, location of the point where the Confederate army recrossed the Potomac River following the Battle of Gettysburg, and note that the town of Winchester changed hands [46] times during the war.

Color coding indicates the location of Confederate forces.
