Rosenwald, of Jenkintown, PA, (left) and Luther Harris Evans, Librarian of Congress (right), are shown with the unique copy of the Doctrina Christiana which Mr. Rosenwald presented to the Library of Congress in 1947. The first book printed in the Philippines, it was published at Manila in 1593. This is the only known copy."
