Notes
Les Stewart talks about short-term Native American buckarooing on the 96 Ranch. Recorded in a barn on the 96 Ranch.
The Indian buckaroos at the Ninety-Six have mostly been Northern Paiute, although Les has also hired Shoshone, Navajo, and Apache cowboys. As this video indicates, he has mixed feelings about Indian buckaroos. Les lauds their great skill with horses and livestock but complains about the difficulty of keeping men for even a short period.
