Stewart, Leslie J., filmmaker.
Created/Published
ca. 1945
Notes
Les Stewart's narration [NV82-CF-R2] recorded on 82/07/07 by Margaret Purser and Carl Fleischhauer, describes the portion of the silent film, "Winter on the Ranch," Stewart filmed in the mid-1940s having to do with hog butchering.
This vignette, filmed in ca. 1945 by Les Stewart, recalls a day when the ranch was much more self-sufficient in food for the table than it is today. Currently, only steers are butchered on the Ninety-Six.
This film has not been reedited.
