NOTES
Already familiar to the London public as a Novel Expedient, this review of Mrs. Stirling's performance in A Subterfuge included a long address by Mr. Frederick Robson beginning "That's all I knew, the words I had to speak a while ago...." The review also mentioned the first performance of Wilkie Collins' Lighthouse. Dodgson did not attend.Lighthouse.
