- Summary
- Dvorak's choral masterpiece was first performed at the Birmingham Festival on October 9, 1891 under the composer's direction. It immediately entered the standard repertoire. The present vocal score is an enhanced facsimile of the original Novello edition, with added measure numbers and scaled to a larger, more readable format. Unlike so many of the on-demand scores now available, this one comes with all the pages and the images have been thoroughly checked to make sure it is readable. The score is beautifully printed on off-white stock with a quality cover. As with all PLP scores a percentage of each sale is donated to the amazing online archive of free music scores and recordings, IMSLP - Petrucci Music Library.
