- Summary
- As with his earlier ballet 'Swan Lake', Tchaikovsky contemplated the creation of a concert suite taken from the enormous ballet score but never realized the project. The five-movement suite was most likely arranged by Alexander Siloti and published by Jurgenson in 1899. This newly engraved edition was also issued as a large score (Boca Raton: E.F. Kalmus, 2011. Plate A 2183).
