- Summary
- Though originally composed for piano four-hands, Satie was persuaded to orchestrate these pieces for a concert staged by Jean Cocteau presented on 21 February 1920 featuring works by Milhaud, Poulenc, and Auric. This digitally-enhanced study score is an unabridged reprint of the first edition issued in 1921 by Editions de la Sirene, Paris. Unlike so many of the on-demand scores now available, this one comes with all the pages and the images have been thoroughly checked to make sure it is readable. The score is beautifully printed on off-white stock with a quality cover. As with all PLP scores a percentage of each sale is donated to the amazing online archive of free music scores and recordings, IMSLP - Petrucci Music Library.
