- Summary
- John Redmond, who achieved fame in the 1930s and 40s for tunes like "I let a song go out of my heart" and "Christmas in Killarney" turned his hand to writing religious songs for children in the late 1950s, even spearheading the Religious Music Guild to help foster this genre. The songs he wrote are still beloved by children and parents today. This album seeks to collect all the known songs Redmond wrote for the Religious Music Guild, in edited arrangements for piano, guitar, and 3-and 4-part vocal harmonies.
