- Summary
- The Soundtrack Studies series is a collection of orchestral "sketches" created by transcribing, deconstructing, and composing in the style of film and video game orchestrated scores. The first in this series, Credits Roll Fanfare, is, as the title would suggest, a brilliant fanfare as is often heard during the credits roll. Though this piece is short, it contains two themes: a primary theme presented first by the Clarinet, Trumpet, and Second Violins, and a secondary theme, first heard in the Oboes and upper strings. This composition is orchestrated in the style of Mahito Yokota, Ryo Nagamatsu, and Koji Kondo, the composers of the Super Mario Galaxy 2 soundtrack, by which this piece is heavily inspired.
