- "Ask Me" is the title of one of my favorite William Stafford poems. The original sketch was composed in 2006, but the work was not fully realized until 2009. It was my first attempt at writing for a women's choir with piano accompaniment. The text is open to many interpretations, but I will leave it up to the listener through my music to decide how I interpreted the meaning of this poem.
