<mods:abstract displayLabel="Summary">"Romanza" - as its title suggests - is romance music. Completed in the very last week of 2017, almost all of the thematic material is derived from the four-note motive heard at the beginning. While this motive is very common, the inspiration for this work came mostly from Henryk Gorecki's "Three Pieces in Old Style." The work is also in a theme and variations form. Level: grade 4. Duration: approx. 6'50. </mods:abstract>
