- Summary
- Composed in September 2018, Resilience is a work inspired by overcoming unexpected difficulties. This energetic and rhythmic work is meant to inspire the musicians while also intended to be fun to perform. Most of the music is driven by a 6-note motive heard throughout the work. A slower contrasting B-section, which is also based on the motive, moves the piece into temporary adversity. After a transition, the original motive triumphantly returns and a short coda follows. --
