- This piece is an invitation for everyone to put away their smartphone from time to time. While technology is here to stay, this work serves as a reminder that we should not live our life entirely through screens. Using a pre-recorded audio file, this work begins all electronic sounds with the musicians being distracted by their phones. Through repeated motives, the work gradually transitions from electronics to a real orchestra. Also works as a great opening piece to remind the audience to put away their phones. --
