- Summary
- The work is scored for Alto, C, and Bass flutes (one player) and pre-recorded electronic sounds. The change in flutes is used as a means to extend the tessitura and color of the instrumental part. The score calls for various sound emitting techniques and melodic ornamentation through microtonal appoggiaturas, as well as timbre modification by means of amplification and sound processing. The resulting combination of instrument and electronics is that of a quite free invention in two parts. To better control dynamic balance between instrument and electronics, it is recommended to use subtle amplification on the flutes, especially Alto and Bass flutes.
