- Every year Yosemite National Park in California experiences a breathtaking event in which the waters of Horsetail Fall are illuminated by the evenings setting sun, glowing with hues of orange and red. This spectacular gives the effect of flames cascading down the side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains into the valley called the Yosemite Firefall. Firefall was composed to bring a musical underscore to the visualizations in the valley through the glowing tones and moments of falling imagery. The driving rhythms of this piece create a steady sense of urgency and activity. -- Enter the Firefall and experience the heat!
