- Summary
- Bach's Double concerto arranged for 8 solo violins. The original solo violin parts are divided among 8 violins, with each taking turns playing the solo part as well the ripieno (tutti) parts. The original viola part is also incorporated into the violin parts. This arrangement is very flexible and compatible with Bach's original. The cello plays the original bass line and figured bass is included for an ad lib. keyboard instrument. Fun and ideal for all level of violinists from teaching young violinists chamber music skills, to more advanced players focusing on early music playing styles and performance practice.
