- Summary
- Slipshod was commissioned by choreographer/videographer Victoria Uris in 1991, as the soundtrack for a film featuring tightly edited dancing on top of a parking garage. Musically, the piece is based on two contrasting ideas: a fast, repeated note figure and four jagged quarter notes that are developed and loosely spun together.
