- Opens in Washington, D.C. early in 1979; them moves to another space, perhaps Dance Theatre Workshop, February 1979. March 4, 1979 plays the Emelin Theatre of the Performing Arts in Mamaroneck, NY, billed as "an evening of traditional and contemporary tap dance" with Jane Goldberg, Charles "Cookie" Cook, Jimmy Payne; Marion Coles added to the show.
Goldberg also choreographs "Shake, Paddle and Roll" and performs "The Neighbor" a poem she recites while tapping; thus beginning her interest in tap-and-word performance.
Videocassette, 12 minutes available from New York Public Library Call # *MGZIC 9-5706. News story Interview with dancers Charles "Cookie" Cook and Jane Goldberg publicizing their performance of "Shoot Me While I am Happy" in Washington D.C. probably in January 1979. The two dance the Bambalina and Cook performs a chair dance.
