- Videotaped in performance at the Augusta Heritage Arts Center in Elkins, West Virginia, on July 29th, 1988. Performed by the Ten Toe Percussion Ensemble, a cooperative of percussive dance artists and musicians. Dancers: Harvey Beaton, Ira Bernstein, Brenda Bufalino, Jean Butler, Donny Golden and Normand Legault. Clog tap and step dancing from the U.S., Canada, and England. Performances include: Irish step dancing -- Introductory remarks to Cape Creton step dancing (from Nova Scotia, Canada) -- English clogging: Waltz clog of Sam Sherry, danced by Bernstein -- Appalachian clogging/a cappella rhythm -- French-Canadian step dancing -- Tap dancing: Tribute to Thelonious Monk (suite), danced by Bufalino -- Cantata and the blues -- Finale, performed by entire cast of dancers and musicians.
