The New York City Tap Extravaganza, produced by the New York Committee to Celebrate National Tap Dance Day, Town Hall, New York City. Co-Chairmen and co-producers Al Heyward and Carl Schlesinger.

Heather Cornell and Manhattan Tap (Cornell, Jeannie Hill, Lisa Hopkins, Max Pollock), Jo McNamara, Kevin Ramsey, American Tap Dance Orchestra (Sherry Eyster Brandt, Mari Fujibayashi, Andrea Goodman, Herve Le Goff, Scott Rose, Olivia Rosenkrantz, Robin Tribble, Anne Johnson, Pat Tortorici, Jebah Baum), Jane Goldberg, Hot Foot (Joe Orrach and Rod Ferrone), The Original Hoofers (Lon Chaney, Chuck Green, George Hillman, Jimmy Slyde), Tarik Winston, Sarah Petronio, Savion Glover, Van Porter and Ted Levy, with closing dance by the Silver Belles and the Cotton Club Girls.
