    June 18-26, 1993. Dance Umbrella's Jazz Tap Hip-Hop Festival
    Savion Glover, Jimmy Slyde, Ghettoriginal Dance Company, STOMP, Hotfoot, Shoehorn, Tobin Express Yourself! Tappers.

    June 24-26 1993. Featured the return of a number of master tappers, including Jimmy Slyle and Savion Glover as well as a number of other tap and hip hop artists including Stomp from London, Shoehorn and Hot Foot. The focal point of the festival was the collaboration of Glover and New York hip hop group Rock Steady Crew in the creation of a piece synthesizing the two artistic styles. The premiere of the piece, outreach programs and special events highlighted the festival. Rennie Harris also included in the festival.
