June 28 - July 3, 1999. Portsmouth Percussive Dance Festival. Classes and instructors included "Tap Traditional" (Honi's Shim Sham, BS Chorus, Eddies' BS Chorus, etc.) taught by Drika Overton, creator and artistic director of the Portsmouth Percussive Dance Festival. Tap Advanced/Professional and Tap Repertory taught the first three days by Josh Hilberman, second three days by Jeannie Hill. Other instructors were Jeannie Hill, Bob Stoloff, Marion Groves, Sekou Sylla, Marilyn Middleton, Bob and Idy Thomas, Kristen Samson. Culmination was on Saturday 3rd July at Prescott Park, entitled "Picnic in the Park Celebrates American Independence with American Art!" with instructors and students.
