Narrative: "Ever searching for new features and innovations for the Evelyn Preer Memorial Program presented by her famous father over station KRKD [Los Angeles] every Moday nite, Miss Mea Muse, program arranger, has signed two noted figures of the theatrical and musical world for next Monday night. [The first is] Miss Essie Whitman, head of the Whitman Sisters Comedy Company, a road show that has played the largest Eastern circuits for years. The other is Mr. John Spikes, composer of a number of famous song hits, one of which seemingly will never die is "Some Day Sweetheart"." Review California Eagle
