The Brooklyn Daily Eagle, March 27, 1900 p. 5: The Bijou. In Old Kentucky which has been seen in Brooklyn many times before, but which does not appear to have lost any of its popularity on that account, is at the Bijou this week. The show includes Elesa Ryan as Madge Brierly, the pretty heroine . . . Despite the storm there was a large audience. On Friday night there will be a buck and wing dancing contest open to all comers.
