The Little Millionaire / George M Cohan [theatrical performance]
- Title
- The Little Millionaire [Theatrical Performance]
- Performer
- Cohan, George M.
- Published/Created
- 1911-09-25
- Genre
- Theatrical Performance
- Venue
- Cohan Theater, Broadway
- Abstract
- Lively dancing in this Cohan three-act musical farce: a flag-waving military drill in which there were some "zippy" routines for himself; the finale wedding ceremony was staged as a capital pantomime dance in which the best man trips while the bride and groom are "toeing it to the altar." The jauntily-stepping minister ties the knot, and the ensemble celebrates with fervent footwork as the curtain falls.
