Kelly (director, writer, dancer, host) devised and produced a television special for the NBC Omnibus series and deliberately titled it "Dancing--A Man's Game."
Kelly demonstrates how dancing, both historically and currently, is a "man's game." Sports figures Mickey Mantle, Johnny Unitas, Sugar Ray Robinson, and others, provide examples of standard sports movements from which Kelly choreographs a brief dance. Kelly reviews man's role in the world of dance, including ballet tap and jazz forms. Kelly narrates and dances throughout this program.
Also includes Patrick Adiarte, Edward Villella, Lou Wells, Mickey Mantle, Sugar Ray Robinson, Johnny Unitas.
