Sun 'n Fun EEA Fly-in
This international sport aviation convention was
founded by the Lakeland, Florida chapter of the Experimental
Aircraft Association, a national organization of individuals who
build their own airplanes. The Silver Anniversary Fly-In was held
April 11-17,1999, with 684,200 registered attendees from 50 states
and 74 countries. The air shows are complemented by educational
displays, forums, and workshops that interpret and preserve the
heritage of flight. Sun 'n' Fun is documented in background text,
promotional materials, and the videotape 1999: a Sterling Year.
