Explorations V Children's Museum

This Lakeland museum is filled with interactive, hands-on exhibits geared to children aged two through twelve. Among the many exhibits are Bank With Interest, Explore Store, Nature!, Transportation Vehicles, Asian Impressions, and the most recent installation, Artrageous! Some exhibits, such as Asian Impressions, are supplemented by guest artists, performances and workshops. The museum also sponsors Exhibit in a Trunk, a mobile unit designed to reach children in outlying areas. The museum is documented in text and photographs.
