Boom Town Days

This annual celebration turns the clock back to 1889, when phosphate was accidentally discovered by a Dunnellon resident drilling for water. The town was transformed overnight, and period costumes are worn at the festival to recreate the short-lived mining era. Arts and crafts are sold at 75 booths, and live music is performed.
