Chattahoochee Folklife Project
Presents and interprets the traditional folk arts and
indigenous expressions of the people of the Lower Chattahoochee
River Valley, where the city of Columbus is the center of culture
and population. The project works within a region of seven Alabama
counties and eleven Georgia counties, all of which are connected
geographically and culturally by their proximity to the
Chattahoochee River and to each other.
