Roughrider Days
Held in Dickinson around the Fourth of July holiday
since 1971, this festival has a PRCA rodeo as its focal point.
Other favorites are a demolition derby and tractor pull. A parade,
outdoor concerts, fireworks, mounted cowboy shooting
demonstrations, stock car racing, a circus, and street dances
provide a diversity of entertainment. Competitions and games
include bingo, horseshoes, volleyball, a bench press contest , and
the Battle of Youth Bands. A barbecue feed and a pancake and
sausage breakfast are opportunities to refuel for more fun-filled
activities.
