Somers at the Millennium

About half the residents of the small town of Somers partipicated in a keepsake picture and portrait book to mark the 2000 millennium.

The book, coordinated and designed by the Somers Historical Society, contains photographs of this rural town in all seasons, including civic buildings, holiday and special occasions, and high school sports teams, as well as historic pictures. Of the hundreds of family portraits, Mrs. Helen Czechowicz is believed to be the oldest resident, who turned 104 on January 1, 2000.

Documentation comprises the keepsake book.
