Georgetown Volunteer Fire Company's
Annual Oyster Dinner
Held every February at the Georgetown Fire Hall,
the Oyster Eat offers an auction, 1,000 bushels of oysters, boiled
eggs, and beer. Close to 1,000 people, including politicians,
firemen, and local residents, attend the 62-year-old event.
Project documentation includes a six-page essay, 10
color slides, 3 color photographs, and photocopies of newspaper and
magazines articles.
