The Marshfield Agricultural Fair
Sponsored by the non-profit Marshfield Agricultural
and Horticultural Society, this week-long+ fair is the oldest
Country fair on the South Shore. Agricultural, horticultural, and
crafts displays are features of this 132-year-old fair. Also
included are a midway, 4-H competitions, magic shows, musical
entertainment, racing pigs, poultry and rabbit shows, a demolition
derby, pro wrestling, talent shows and fireworks. In 1999, the
pumpkin contest produced a 610-pound winner.
