50th Anniversary of the Mackinac Island Lilac Festival

A parade, horse drawn carriages and floats, and other festivities highlight the blooming of Mackinac Island's 150-year-old lilac trees. The Lilac Festival occurs in June, and is sponsored by the State of Michigan, Mackinac Island State Parks Commission, Mackinac State Historic Parks, and the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau.
