Winter Carnival at Michigan Technical University

Originally an "ice carnival" with students in circus animal costumes, this event now also includes two intercollegiate hockey games, a parade, a dance, and skiing, snowshoe, and skating races. The carnival was first held in 1922.

Originally submitted by: Carl Levin, Senator.
