Abraham Lincoln re-enactor at River of Time. |
River of Time
Held in Bay City Veterans Memorial Park on
September 25 and 26, this living history event brings the past to
life, from pre-colonial times through the Civil War. More than 600
re-enactors perform in several period encampment sites, marching
fields, and battle re-enactments. Several historic buildings are
open for view. In the Program Tent, the public can listen to and
interact with "first person" re-enactors representing historically
significant figures such as Abraham Lincoln and Mark Twain. The Bay
County Historical Society presents the free event.
