Capitol Music Hall in Wheeling
The historic Capitol Music Hall is the home of
legendary Jamboree USA, which has been broadcasting live over WWVA
Radio since 1933. Fans from all over the eastern seaboard have
tuned in to the live weekly radio show to hear country music
artists perform on the Music Hall's world-famous stage. The second
oldest country music program (next to the Grand Old Opry), the
Wheeling Jamboree endures as one of America's oldest live radio
broadcasts. The theatre is also home to the Wheeling Symphony
Orchestra and various other musical, dance and theatre groups.
