Junie honey!
Oh what a beautiful morning - and oh what a beautiful feeling!! Do you know what happened to me? Came back in the cabin last night after a tough afternoon with the boats - (our first since we arrived!) and oh baby - was I low! Bushed, fagged out, and missing you so darn much I started eyeing my last few fingers of Scotch and toying with the idea of getting "dirty corked" - which is a hell of a way to eye your last Scotch! And then - oh *beautiful* memory! - my eye moved from the Ballantine's to the top of the bureau, and there in all their beauty were THREE LETTERS - imagine!! So help me for a whole minute - I just stared - then I yelled and buried my nose in them and just couldn't calm down enough to open them! Finally I tore them open and was like a guy drugged - I read and reread every line - and when the third letter was through I lay back on my bunk in absolute bliss and reread them! Oh darling, I can not tell you how completely happy I am - to hear from you - to feel you so near - to hear you say things I knew but wanted so desperately to hear again - your
