The veteran worked in Personnel, keeping all records up to date. She typed discharge papers, visited sick and wounded soldiers, kept the soldiers' family information, and wrote letters to families for busy soldiers. Veteran met her husband when he was ill with malaria and later married him. She worked at a Navy base for a while discharging sailors. Veteran also served in the Air Force.
